Neck, Shoulder and Back Massage
The most-requested massage in the modern world. Learn the sequence that unwinds a desk-bound body — and gives you a solid one-hour standalone treatment.
Book this courseWhat you'll learn
The neck, shoulders and upper back carry more of modern life's tension than any other part of the body. This course teaches the sequence that unwinds them — the one that clients rebook for, that colleagues quietly ask you to give them at the office, that partners wait patiently at the end of the day for.
- Reading a shoulder line — where the tension actually is versus where the client says it is
- Working the trapezius and rhomboids properly without hurting your own hands
- Neck safety — techniques that release without risk
- Sequencing a chair-based 20-minute version and a table-based 60-minute version
Who this is for
Anyone with a partner who works at a desk. Wellness practitioners who want a solid, always-in-demand core offering. Office workers who want to trade proper shoulder massages with a colleague once a week.

Wen
Wen has spent a decade in massage and wellness — first as a practitioner, then as an entrepreneur who founded three massage centres of her own. Zenland is her teaching practice: the place where she passes on what she's learned, one student at a time.
She teaches the way she was taught: hands on the table, corrections in real time, no shortcuts. Wen teaches in English and Chinese, and works with everyone from complete beginners to wellness professionals adding a technique to an existing practice.
