Traditional Chinese Massage
The rhythmic, deep, whole-body technique that anchors Chinese bodywork — long strokes, targeted pressure, and a sense of unhurried flow.
Book this courseWhat you'll learn
Traditional Chinese massage — Tui Na in its everyday form — is the foundation of most of what follows in a Chinese bodywork education. You'll learn the pressing, kneading, rolling and grasping techniques that build a full-body session, and the rhythm that separates a professional massage from an amateur one.
- The core hand techniques: pressing, kneading, rolling, grasping, plucking
- Positioning your client and yourself so you can work for an hour without tiring
- Sequencing a full-body session
- Adjusting pressure for different body types and tolerances

Wen
Wen has spent a decade in massage and wellness — first as a practitioner, then as an entrepreneur who founded three massage centres of her own. Zenland is her teaching practice: the place where she passes on what she's learned, one student at a time.
She teaches the way she was taught: hands on the table, corrections in real time, no shortcuts. Wen teaches in English and Chinese, and works with everyone from complete beginners to wellness professionals adding a technique to an existing practice.
